Leslie has been in the healthcare industry for over 20 years. For most of those years, she served as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at a trauma hospital in Huntington, WV. After leaving bedside in 2017, she switched her focus to mental and physical wellness for the caregiver. She is a certified trauma recovery coach with her passion being helping first responders and healthcare workers. Leslie has spoken at several conferences on the local, state and national levels. She believes that through education on topics such as compassion fatigue, PTSD, how the body responds to traumatic events, etc. her audiences become empowered with the tools needed to better manage their mental and physical health in positive ways.
