Our guests today are a wonderful married couple Jane and Bob Ashton.Jane and Bob met in 1977 in the old Gaumont Theatre in Southampton. Jane was an Usherette (as it was known back then) and Bob was moonlighting (from his day job as a Police Officer) in security and stagehand work at the theatre. Jane thought Bob was a firefighter! Was she disappointed? Was it love at first sight? Is Bob the love of her life?
