Listen "Geoffroy Henry, co-founder - Ofload"
Episode Synopsis
In our weekly technology start-up podcast, analyst Elise Kennedy hosts Geoffroy Henry, co-founder of Ofload.Ofload is a digital platform for road freight that connects shippers with carriers, aiming to remove inefficiency and improve transparency. The market in Australia is highly fragmented with 50,000 trucking companies and 98% of these have less than 10 trucks. Ofload recognises the inefficiencies in this market and is looking to develop and manage the end-to-end fulfilment process through technology to better utilise industry capacity, reduce spare capacity and truck idling time. Over the longer term, Ofload is looking to expand on the opportunity they have capitalised on in Australia and implement their technology internationally, particularly in South East Asia.In this podcast we discuss the company, what's happening in the transport logistics space and how Ofload thinks about the opportunity that exists.
