Alan MacLeod (@alanRmacleod) is a writer for the media watch group FAIR. He completed his PhD at the Glasgow University Media Group. His first book was "Bad News from Venezuela: 20 years of fake news and misreporting" published in April. He is currently working on a book called "Propaganda in the Information Age: Still Manufacturing Consent" which updates Herman and Chomsky's propaganda model (and is scheduled for release in the winter). He recently wrote an article titled "The Utility of the Russiagate Conspiracy," for FAIR.
