Ahhhhhh. Technology. The sheer magic unleashed by the various and sundry technological marvels in today’s world have transformed our society. The very fact you’re listening to this week’s episode is one of those marvels. It used to be that communicating on anything other than a one to one or one to small group level was relegated to the select few. Elite access to mass communication. Today’s world rips that down and enables anyone to be a content creator. It also has, without question, cloven our society, fractured it into siloed splinters of information in which like and like gather, with walls around them. We are, perhaps more connected as a society, but in many ways have never been so divided. Jeffrey Hayzlett understands this and though he sits at a perch many might never see – senior executive for Kodak, TV personality, CEO of C-Suite Network, author – his feet are very firmly planted in creating connections across divides. Unfortunately the Internet connection where he was based during our interview didn’t have the same view. So in this rather unusual episode of the show, my conversation with Jeffrey gets literally shut down and I got to get creative.
