This is such a special episode because we are at my Aunt Theresa's house in my hometown in New Jersey! When I think of sports growing up, there was no bigger fan than my dad. As you've heard throughout the podcast, he put 3 TV's in our basement to watch every game at once. When my dad died in 2005, baseball has been my biggest connection to him as I found myself yelling the same things he used to yell at the TV but at my new team the Dodgers in a new city of Los Angeles where I decided to book a one way flight to in 2011. My family has suffered many losses of our loved ones over the years, we all gravitated toward different teams, but we all share the love of baseball. Losing my cousin Justin in 2023 made me escape into baseball more than ever, and it was the motivation to start this podcast. No one would love what I'm doing more than my dad and more than Justin, so to have my family on my podcast to talk about our baseball roots, our passion for the game, and the ones who are cheering from heaven truly means everything to me.I couldn't be happier to bring my family on to go back to where it all started.
