We are very excited to have Emma Bittner join us this week! Emma is a DPT graduate of Chatham University and works in oncology rehab for Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, PA. In the first three years of her career, she has completed her coursework to become a Certified Lymphedema Therapist and is treating patients with a variety of cancer diagnoses and cancer-related impairments full-time. She was also Liz's clinical instructor last fall! Tune in to hear all about what oncology rehab entails, the rewards and challenges of working with the oncology population, and what it was like diving into an advanced specialty field full-time following graduation.
