This week we spoke with Ashley Greenthaner, a 2014 graduate from Youngstown State University, and current critical care PT at UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pennsylvania. Ashley is a cardiology and pulmonary clinical specialist (CCS). Ashley explains what it is like to hold one of the more unique specialties in PT and what it is like to treat critically ill patients. She also discusses how she gained the confidence to work with a population of individuals where making a mistake could lead to dire consequences. Enjoy!
