When you are saved you become dead to the power of sin.
Sin is like a giant tree that has branched throughout your life and entered into your decisions and affect the entirety of our lives. When you are born again, Christ cuts down the tree and then it becomes your job to start to remove the branches through the power of the Spirit and not enjoy sin anymore.
Grace changes the spiritual law that we live under. It changes how we think about ourselves
