Today’s guest is David Asarnow, CEO at Business Nitrogen, and host of the Get Naked in Business Podcast. David shares with Sarah the mistakes he made at the beginning of his business. David explains the importance of being clear on what you want in your business. David gives tips on how to release clients and other opportunities that weren’t aligned to scale. David built two 8 figure businesses with other people, but once he went off on his own, the mistakes started to rise. David realized that having a strong team around him resulted in a successful business. He added value to someone in his company which helped get his entrepreneurial journey back on track.  A challenge that David ran into was not being clear enough about what he wanted in his business.  David’s co-pilot who helped him through his ups and downs was his wife, Jennifer. She supported him along his flight and encouraged him to keep going.A challenge that David’s had to overcome was focus and scale. David got involved with a lot of different business ventures and some weren’t aligned with what his company is doing now.David had to release clients and other opportunities that weren’t aligned to scale. Knowing what the red flags are in your company can help prevent any future issues.One thing that David has seen over the years of being an entrepreneur is that people tend to hold back on things that don’t focus on their mindset and their beliefs.
