Send us a text**Trigger warning: This episode touches on infertility. In this episode we talk to Claire about her beautiful boys Douglas and George.Claire shares how the timing of required shoulder surgery and time off work led to taking the leap and welcoming Doug into the family, as their first dog since starting life in New Zealand- half a world away from their entire support network. Claire shares how a sliding door moment lead to entering into the world of agility with Doug, and why it has since become such a huge passion for her and the boys. Claire talks about the heartbreak of infertility, the challenges associated with IVF and the toll it all took on her mental health, leading to the adoption of George. With George came a whole lot of love, and a whole lot of challenges. Claire shares the struggles they had with George in the early days, as they soon found out he had a long list of behavioral challenges, as well as some physical obstacles to overcome.
