➡️ Around 80% of women experience period pain at some stage in their lifetime.ℹ️ But in 5% to 10% of women the pain is severe enough to disrupt their life 😖These statistics are overwhelmingly high & make me quite emotional to think that 80% of women in the world, will experience some form of pain in relation to their menstrual cycle, and therefore the potential to disassociate from their sacred cycle❌ Especially when it doesn’t have to be this way!! ❌✅ Pain free periods are not only totally possible for you, but they should be the standard. The only reason we think it’s normal to experience cramps is because of how common it is…and no one ever educated us else wise.But let’s be real…in the West, we haven’t really been taught how to properly process or deal with pain. We are conditioned to reject & run away from pain & discomfort. We have very weak minds & an aversion to anything that is too far outside of our comfort zone.As I tell my clients, you’re not going to heal you period pain, if you’re constantly rejecting your pain and numbing it with pain killers.
