The streets of Wallaceburg are set to come alive once again as WAMBO proudly unveils its 2025 entertainment lineup.
With a mixture of nostalgia, hometown pride, and powerhouse performances, the Main Stage promises something unforgettable for every music lover.
Kicking off the weekend on Friday, August 8, is Leave Those Kids Alone with their Graduation Tour, bringing youthful energy and classic rock flair to the stage at 7pm. Their infectious spirit has made waves across the region, and WAMBO is thrilled to host them on what promises to be a defining night.
Saturday, August 9, starts strong at noon with Colt McLauchlin, a name synonymous with soulful sounds and storytelling lyrics. With a voice rooted in rural Ontario and a heart full of homegrown passion, McLauchlin’s midday set is sure to strike a chord with festival-goers.
Then, as evening settles in, the Steven Page Trio takes over at 8:30pm, led by the former Barenaked Ladies frontman whose unmistakable voice and clever songwriting have become Canadian cultural staples. The trio’s performance is anticipated to be one of the highlights of the entire festival.
We caught up with WAMBO Chair and Entertainment Director Bill Wolsing, who shared his excitement about the upcoming lineup.
He emphasized the importance of curating talent that reflects both local pride and broader musical appeal, noting that this year’s acts bring a mix of familiarity and fresh energy to the stage.
