Listen "Examination of Life: Note to my younger self"
Episode Synopsis
"The unexamined life is not worth living.” – Socrates
A few days ago I turned 49. However, as I began to approach my birthday I realized 50 was right around the corner. It made me wonder what I wish I had known earlier, would it have shaped me differently? Would I be the person I am today? Have you ever wished you could go back in time and tell your younger self something? Do you feel like you could change something from your past? Aren’t sure you have accomplished what you set out to accomplish. I’ve decided to write a letter to my younger self as a way to acknowledge things from my past and find ways to use them to make positive changes for the future. Before I share my letter with you, I’ve decided to take a walk down memory lane with my parents and one of aunts as a way of seeing myself through their eyes. Hopefully at the end of this episode some of my notes to my younger self may just help the older version of us all.
Featured Guest: My Parents: Thomas and Christine and my Aunt Clara
