There are many private hospitals in Malaysia. Most of them are owned by government linked organizations or by business man. Very few are actually owned by doctors. Today we are fortunate to have Mr. Timothy Chang who works for a private equity firm, TPG capital and they have set up hospitals where doctors become part owners of these hospitals. This is a very interesting concept and we will learn more about this from him.
