Episode Synopsis

Surf's up, beach lovers! We're looking at some mellow wave conditions along the Southern California coast this weekend. Today's surf in Orange County and San Diego is serving up a modest 1 to 3 foot swell with occasional sets pushing to 4 feet. For all you wave riders, expect a mixed swell coming from 190 and 270 degrees - that means some interesting wave angles to play with.Water temperatures are sitting pretty between 66 and 71 degrees - perfect for a wetsuit-optional session. The good news is rip current risk remains low today, so even intermediate surfers should feel comfortable catching some waves.Looking ahead to Sunday, things get a bit more interesting. Orange County will see a moderate rip current risk with surf heights bumping up to 2 to 4 feet. San Diego will maintain a low risk scenario with similar wave heights.Tide-wise, we've got some nice vertical movement. Newport Beach and La Jolla will experience high tides around 5.3 to 5.5 feet in the afternoon, with low tides dipping down to just 0.2 to 0.4 feet late evening. The swell direction continues to be a mix of southwest and west-northwest angles, promising some diversity in wave shape and riding opportunities. No thunderstorm potential means clean, predictable conditions for beach and surf enthusiasts.Grab your board, check your gear, and enjoy some sweet Southern California waves this weekend! For more http://www.quietplease.aiGet the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOtaThis content was created in partnership and with the help of Artificial Intelligence AI
