There is a war happening and you don’t even see it. This war is over your soul… you are wanted – by God and by the devil. You are important to both of them, but for different reasons.

God fights for your soul because he loves you immensely and unconditionally. He fights for you because he is full of grace and mercy, because he desires your eternal good.

The devil wants your soul for different purposes. You see the devil despises God and therefore, he despises everything and everyone that God loves. God loves you and God wants you to be in heaven, so the devil and his evil angels work tirelessly for your soul. The devil is the enemy, who only plots for destruction.

Revelation 12 speaks about this war and it gives Christians immense comfort as well as a sober warning.
