Mduduzi Msibi known as Anikulapo. A free spirited, audio engineer and music lover.

The name Anikulapo is influenced by the great Fela Kuti but the meaning behind the name is what I am really anchored on which is "He who carries death in his pocket".

I live and grew up in the ever busy streets of Soweto which has helped shape me both personally and musically with all that I've experienced in and around me. I refers to myselfl as a music collector first before anything else and I am boundless by the genre constricts of music I listens and play all that sounds good to my ears and I connect to. Be it Jazz, Electronica, Lounge , House, Hip Hop and World music. This is evident in the podcast music show which I co-founded called Eargasmic sounds where there's a variety of selections by me and fellow spinners who are relative to my audio map.

Started my music journey in my high school days when I also took the decision to follow a career in audio. My first year at The Academy Of Sound Engineering in 2011 is what opened my perspective and ears to a whole new universe of music which I still explores till to this day as I always say "you can never overdose on music".

I since have been certified as an audio engineer in Live sound & Broadcast and I still continue to follow my passion through music whether working or for personal pleasure. I see this as a calling, I have to some how leave the world a better place than how I found it and I think the best way for me is to play,make and be part of music however way I can. I plan to do it until my death bed and that's a promise I have made to myself
