thds is an uprising multi-talented musician that shined last year alongside Dubelu in our Zeitgeist Vol.4 compilation. Now he is back with his titled release “Ubuntu”, presenting us with an amazing 4 tracker curated perfectly to hear along the melodies of each song, fitted perfectly with the warm and smooth vocals that characterizes thds sound.

“Ubuntu” is a Nguni Bantu term meaning “humanity”. It is often translated as “I am because we are”. In a search for authenticity, this EP was entirely recorded on acoustic and electric instruments. It comes as the result of a reflection about our relationship with nature and with one another. Fly along the rhythms of thds with “Ubuntu”, his new spells written for the Sounds of Sirin.
