We were taught as children not to take up space, to be seen, and not heard. We’ve carried this into adulthood. But what if we had been told that just our presence had value and is valuable? To grow up we may need to pull ourselves out of our well-worn rut, then do the work to establish a new path. It’s work until it isn’t. So, give up what was, and be here in the present moment. It’s time to live in “proaction” not reaction. Be prepared to sacrifice anything that isn’t in alignment with who and what we are becoming.
