This week on the Witness Podcast we introduce a new guest contributor Margaret Burk. Margaret brings decades of performance, teaching, and producing experience to her storytelling. Margaret is the former Director of Development for the Chicago Sinfonietta and was named “100 Women Making a Difference” in Today’s Chicago Woman Magazine. After a career in arts administration, Margaret returned to her love - the spoken word. She performs throughout the Chicago area, drawing from her background in theology and spirituality. Using stories, scripture, ritual, and group sharing Margaret leads retreats guiding participants through a process of reflection and discovery.
