Listen "11/05/23: From Warmth to Depth"
Episode Synopsis
Mark 3:7-19 is broken up into two sections: In the first, we see Jesus ministering to a multitude that comes to Him, while in the second, we see Him appointing the 12 as apostles. This contrast is similar to what we saw in Mark 2:13-17, and with it we are once again challenged with the question of: will we be like the crowd and simply come to Him, or will we be like the disciples and follow Him? Join us this Sunday, as we explore these passages in Mark 3 to gain a deeper understanding of the depth of the call to “Follow Me,” and see the loving hand of a God who invites us to move from just standing and watching on the shore to a relationship of intimacy and purpose.
