As we turn to Acts 4 this morning let me remind youwhere we have been. On the day of Pentecost, 120followers of Christ that had gathered in an upperroom and the Holy Spirit came upon each one. Itwas the very beginning of the church, the day thechurch was born. We study with interest to see whatthey did and what they dedicated their lives todoing... Christianity is a relationship not a religion.It’s not just a Sunday thing, it’s a daily comingtogether. The first church dedicated themselvesdaily to the apostle's doctrine and fellowship thebreaking of bread and prayer. It didn't just changetheir lives as we see from studying the book of Acts,it changed the world.Remember, it was Jesus who said He wouldbuild His church and on that day, the day ofPentecost the church was born.
