If it were not forPentecost we would not be here today as thechurch would have burned out, fizzled out, walkedaway or just given up.The Holy Spirit is the third person of the trinity whomJesus promised would come to His followers afterHe returned to heaven and that when the Holy Spiritcame He would not just be with us but that Hewould be in us and that His job was to help us to livethe life that Jesus has for us by giving us power thatis not our own and bringing to remembrance all thatJesus had taught.
