How would you describe your living space right now? If someone were to say, “I’m coming over” would it send you into a panic? Would certain things rush into your mind that you’ve let slide or neglected completely and what type of cleaning would you do - a surface clean or a deep clean? In our reading on Sunday, Jesus approaches Zacchaeus and says, “I must stay at your house today.” While we may say that Jesus has an open invitation, are there certain places that we have deemed off limits? Are there things that we’ve let slide? What would it mean to take care of our spiritual houses?
