Brief Biography When Steve Swenson was young his father was killed in a freak accident. His mum remarried a Pastor (Gary Swenson), who raised Steve as his own son. Steve went on to become a pastor himself, before serving on a local city council. Today he works for Open Doors, a ministry raising awareness of the need to pray for persecuted believers around the world. Steve is married to Sherry and they have two adult kids.
