Mandy Manning, National Teacher of the Year, 2018. During this special edition of Sunday Morning Magazine, we celebrated outstanding educator who are finding ways to reach their students through innovative means. Ms. Manning, teaches Math and English to refuge, and immigrant high school student in Spokane, Washington. She is often the first teacher her students have when they come to this country. For her devotion, she was named 2018’s National Teacher of the Year.
