Jeanette Greven, Senior Sustainability Consultant at TDi, joins Sarah Wilkinson, TDi's Marketing Manager to discuss TDi’s contribution to, and findings from, the first review of the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation (CMR), which was adopted in September 2024. The review was led by the TDi Sustainability team, and Sarah and Jeannette discuss the review methodology, the shortcomings identified by the team and some recommendations for how these could be addressed. Jeannette also examines practical steps that companies can take to ensure that they're complying with the Conflict Minerals Regulation, and looks at how the CMR fits in with other key EU Regulations, touching on recent changes introduced by the omnibus package.
