Grahaa Space is working on designing and developing a cluster of earth observation nano satellites to be launched into low earth orbit. The nano satellites are intended to stream near real-time videos of client-defined areas-of-interest.
Ramesh Kumar is a Coimbatore based person, he did his B.E in Anna University, Guindy, then did his his MBA and started a company called Biztoonz creative services in Banglore.
Then he was working as a Senior Executive Producer in IBM for Live Streaming technical content, he got the access to UStream, which had the official NASA channel that streamed the live video feed from its HDEV experimentation, then he found out very few startups were researching in the video streaming area. He says thats his eureka moment
Then he met M Loganathan who is a retired ISRO scientist (Co- founder of Grahaa space), during a UN workshop and discussed opportunities for streaming high-resolution videos from low earth orbit using nanosatellites and their potential applications.
Then, the Grahaa Space was created.
