Obsessing Over the Test - Why I Fundamentally Disagree Today, I unpack a trend that I’m seeing more and more on social media - that is, the concept of students and applicants needing to obsess over standardized tests in order to do well. I fundamentally disagree with this concept and fear-based marketing because I know it’s not true and I've been there, too. I’ve been an applicant for graduate and professional school cycles, I’ve been on admissions committees at every single level, and I work with students and clients who thrive and succeed in our non-competition-based community.
