Listen "024 | Kris Buchanan tells us Why We Should Slow Our Business Growth"
Episode Synopsis
024 | Kris Buchanan tells us Why We Should Slow Our Business Growth Kris Buchanan founded GOODONYA in 2001, which originally had 5 locations. In 2010 she created the GOODONYA bar (which is no longer being made) and then in 2014 she started the 1051 minerals and electrolyte drink. Kris is the very proud owner of the delicious GOODONYA Organic Restaurant in Encinitas, which I am a HUGE fan of! I dive deep with Kris; she shares how creating and selling a product can be extremely difficult when you don’t have the kind of money that bigger manufacturers have. Kris did not let that stop her from pursuing what she wanted though (she tells us more in this interview). Despite not being a salesperson she jumped in with both feet and made a huge push to get her nutrition bars into different grocery chains. However, Kris shares why she believes she would have been more successful if she had slowed down, learned more about sales and marketing, and found her target audience. If all you see on Facebook is that you need to hustle, hustle, hustle, I invite you to listen to this episode, where Kris actually encourages my listeners to slow down business growth, and focus on just their niche market. Kris bares all in this in a vulnerable interview of how her NO’s which led her to where she is today. You DO NOT want to miss this episode!
