In this episode, we focus on diversity and inclusion in the finance world; an industry that is known to lack inclusive efforts and diversity among its employees. Our hosts Damita Menezes and Masa Najjar invited four finance students to a panel to talk about the difficulties and obstacles that occur in the profession. First, finance students Mackenzie Larsen and Sydney Le discuss gender complexities in the workplace. Secondly, finance students Seerat Kaler and Christian Lambert talk about their experiences with systemic racism and from their perspective, how it continues to affect diversity and inclusion expansion efforts for entry level recruitment and leadership roles.
