I felt like I was getting pretty good at interviewing, but I stepped all over myself in this one all because, well, its Sergei! You’ll be glad to know I edited out a bunch of my drivel. Sergei is so laid back, but at the same time very intense and serious regarding his music. He provides some great insight into how he chooses repertoire, his practice sessions, and his working relationship with the amazing pianist Maria Meerovitch.
