On Fathers day, Pastor Eric shared a message titled “Fathers and Men”. He asked two questions to all the men and fathers. The first question was: Who is building your foundation? Jon Tyson said “Secularism disciples a man to learn to live without God”. As men and fathers, one of the most important decisions we can make is to be intentional about who we are allowing to shape and form us. We looked at the life of Daniel, who refused to be shaped by the culture he lived in and he continually turned his attention to God. The second question was: Is your inner world designed for greatness? Eric encouraged all of us to become men of strong character. He talked through the 3 stages of developing character, where an attribute moves from an idea to becoming who you are.
