Slawek Semeniuk is a freelance bass player and composer, currently based
in the Düsseldorf area, Germany.
Born and raised in Poland, holds a degree in Jazz Performance at the Maastricht Academy of Music.
Constantly active as a studio musician and a live performer with an experience of working on over twenty records and playing more than 800 concerts worldwide. That includes his work and multiple tours with an Australian guitarist Rob Tognoni, as well as collaborations with many well-acclaimed musicians from around the globe, like Ulf Stricker or grammy nominated composer Simon Novsky.
‘Slavic Horizons’ marks Slawek’s second release, concentrating around own music.
It’s an instrumental blend, exuberantly harmonious through virtuosity of an international line up:

The main character of the record is a marriage between fusion genre and certain folkloristic elements, derived from the slavic heritage. Consisting of 11 original tracks, successfully painting his own vision of music and continuing the voyage as a composer, which begun in 2014 with his debut album - Synthdrome.
