This week I am joined by Matthew Conger. He is a husband and father of four. Matthew is a former teacher who now works at Sport Manawatū. He is also an experienced FIFA International Referee - having refereed at two Olympic Games and two World Cups.
In this episode we chat through Matthew's story, discussing his upbringing in the United States and how he ended up in Palmerston North, New Zealand. We learn how he got into refereeing and the journey to become a FIFA referee. We also spend some time talking about how he's managed the demands of refereeing internationally whilst trying to be a good dad.
