Listen "The Power of Rest and Digest"
Episode Synopsis
Last week we talked about fasting and what it does to our body’s normal digestion processes. Today we are going to take a deeper dive into our body’s natural digestion process. Our brain is heavily involved in the digestion process, our brain stores “files” of memories it has while eating certain foods and the emotions that came with those foods. When we are hungry it brings these memories to the forefront and requests food. Our body digests best when we are in rest and digest vs fight or flight. When in fight or flight our body isn’t as hungry and digestion may lead to stomach issues and diarrhea. We have a whole episode about poop and what indicators it has for your body. (yes.. we really have an entire episode about poop haha. Episode 14)Eating is more than just the activity of putting food into your body. It is an experience of what you are doing while you eat that your mind creates the “file” of and attaches those memories to the foods you eat.If you have any questions you’d like to ask Lori, please ask it in our contact form here: https://stretch4life.com/contact-us/ Check out our recommended products: #adhttps://stretch4life.com/products/ Check out Lori’s courses here:https://stretch4life.com/courses/
