For this week’s Strength Chat, I was joined by a powerlifter, weightlifter and physiotherapist, Jess Sewastenko. Having recently made the transition from powerlifting to weightlifting, it was great to chat with Jess about her journey so far and how she balances being a competitive athlete with being a physiotherapist. An interesting and insightful conversation about the pros and cons she’s found competing in both sports, as well as the similarities and differences between them and as a competitive athlete does that help her work with and understand her physio clients.
