Listen "#182 Mat Cook"
Episode Synopsis
I really enjoyed this episode! For this week’s Strength Chat, I was joined by speed coach and good friend, Mat Cook. Mat runs Transferable Training where he coaches grassroot athletes all the way up to England internationals. I’ve worked with Mat for a long time now and to have seen his progression in terms of his coaching and knowledge skillset has been awesome. Therefore, in this episode, we chatted about what makes athletes fast, how Mat has changed and adapted his coaching philosophies and methods over time, as well as why he doesn’t necessarily need a gym to get results.
