People disappear all the time. Thousands go missing. Many chose to simply walk away from their lives. Others vanish without a trace under very mysterious circumstances. Korrina Malinoski failed to show up for work the morning of November 20, 1987. Her vehicle was found parked in front of the gate to the property where they lived. Early morning, February 14, 2000, Asha Degree quietly grabbed her book bag full of cloths and personal things and slipped out the door of her family home. Authorities believe she walked along Highway 18 in Shelby, North Carolina, even though it was pouring down rain. She was just nine years old when she vanished.
