Episode Synopsis
While epilepsy may only affect a person in a sudden and brief moment, the disability has come to impact almost every aspect of Matthew's life. Rape, castration, and a ban from working have been a few of the consequences. The part of Matthew's brain that caused epilepsy has been removed, but that hasn't stopped some people from continuing to view him as a burden. Matthew doesn't let that hold him back from finding purpose, love, compassion and community.
