With the holiday season in full swing, GamerDude wanted to take a few minutes to share a story that was written by Phillip Van Doren Stern back in 1943.  The story, called The Greatest Gift, had humble beginnings - the author is reported to have come up with the idea while shaving one morning - but it may sound quite familiar to you as you listen.  No spoilers, but this simple story slowly grew into a cultural phenomenon, without ever losing its heartfelt message. The message is a simple one that we should remember every day, and particularly at the time of year when some of us need to hear it the most: the greatest gift we have is life, and being a part of the world, and having the opportunity to take part in it.
