Episode Synopsis

Pete Solomita interviews Mimsey Mack, a musician, writer and poet. Mimsey talks about her childhood, becoming a born again christian and then getting away from an abusive husband and the steps it took to heal herself and familly. In 2006 Mimsey moves to NYC making a living as a physical therapist, becomes a musician and part of the music scene of the city. She reads very powerful poems about being in an abusive relationship and what it took to leave.
