Samantha MacAdam, a 2006 graduate of our Broadcasting program, is making waves in the film industry. As a multi-award-winning writer and director, she has worked on numerous projects and is currently nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for Best Direction in a TV movie for Fashionably In Love. 
Her directorial comedic debut, "Prom Night," premiered at Just for Laughs; PLAYBACK recognized her as One to Watch; she was in the 2022 Directors Program cohort, a program supported by Warner Bros. Discovery and administered by the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television, and has achieved much more in between. She has collaborated with several renowned actors, has directed and co-wrote commercials for The JUNO Awards, has explored a diverse range of genres, including comedy and horror, and has a wealth of experience.
