She had told the police, of course.  But she hadn't told them the whole truth.  They wouldn't have believed her if she did.  They wouldn't have filed the police report that she hoped would scare people away from buying the house after she discovered that something sinister had already claimed it.   Perhaps if she'd known that some detectives were open to ideas so out of the box, they were out of the reality in which that box existed, she would have tried to work with such a detective.  Maybe that couple would still be alive.   A woman with super-hearing joins forces with a paranormal consultant to capture an invisible killer, but they find themselves up against a far more powerful and unknowable foe.   Genre: Fantasy, Horror   CREDITSStory: "Esmerelda Auricle" Copyright © 2016 by Nila L.
