Episode Synopsis
Storm chaser Gabe Garfield joins Jeremy and Gabe on this episode of the StormReel podcast to talk about his journey into the weather world and about chasing the two largest tornadoes on record. At the time, it was the largest tornado on record, only to be eclipsed by the May 31, 2013 El Reno, Oklahoma tornado where Gabe and his chase partners found themselves in the crosshairs of a monstrous 2.6 mile wide tornado. Gabe talks about the highs and lows of chasing weather phenomenon that can be beautiful and mesmerizing but also cause mass destruction and heartache.Support the show: Subscribe for early access to new episodes: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1593001/subscribeOr give a one time donation: https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/WLZAP67966B98World's Longest Lightning Strike | Gabe's Blog: Tornado Intensity | Hallam, NE 2.5 Mile Wide Tornado | El Reno, OK 2.6 Mile Wide Tornado | Storm Chasing Content Protection | Storm Chasing EducationFollow Gabe Garfield: X | Instagram | Facebook | YoutubeStormReel: stormreel.com | YouTube | X | Instagram | TikTok |Music: Metamerism - AuragraphSoundcloud | Spotify | Instagram StormReel is hosted by storm chasers Gabe Cox and Jeremy HamannSupport the show
