Most of the times, it's not fear that makes it hard for us: it's those feelings of shame and guilt that we put on top of us feeling challenged by fear already.
Fear does not hurt as much as shame does. You begin beating yourself for things that you wish you could've done different, but you couldn't.
You are always doing your best and if you could have done more, you would have done more. With this in mind, be more gentle with yourself and learn from all your mistakes.
