Being passed over for a promotion can be one of the most traumatic experiences possible. Hearing the words, “You were not selected” immediately triggers a range of emotions - disappointment, frustration, and even resentment. However, before letting your emotions get the best of you, it's important to reflect on these feelings while assessing the situation objectively.
