Grease bundt pan. Cream sugar and butter and crisco. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating after each addition. Sift flour, salt and baking powder together and gradually add to sugar and eggs. Add vanilla and almond.Pour into greased and floured tube pan and bake approx. 1 hour. Caramel IcingIngredients:1 can sweetened condensed milk2 cups sugar2 sticks butterIn medium saucepan over medium-low heat, stir together ingredients. Keep cooking and stirring, scraping the bottom occasionally. When bubbles begin to break on the surface cook for 8 minutes, and continue to stir. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly so it will thicken. Spread carefully on cake.
