This is MIA Conversation with An Duong, Aerospace Engineer, 3D Printing Enthusiast and a STEM Ambassador, who is very passionate about his job and how it enables him to work with the latest technology and wants to inspire more young people to study STEM subjects and encourage them into Engineering and Technology profession. He has an innovative and fun approach, using 3D printing (or Additive (layering) Manufacturing) to create jet engine models for example and show young what can be done using this technology and also how engines works.
He gives us an insight on what he does and why he believes that both the Industry and schools need to be proactive and work together to get our young people ready for the skill sets required for jobs that will be created in the future, parents and careers also have a role to play to ensure that they know what is happening so help guide the young people.
